Renowned historian and preservationist William Seale has authored a book to capture the extraordinary 100-year history of The Garden Club of America. More than just a collection of memories, the book is a stirring account of the contributions GCA has made to the political, historical and cultural fabric of our nation.

The new GCA website is LIVE! It is still a work-in-progress but you can now log in and register your own personal user name (your email address) and password of your choice.
Entry forms for the NCGC monthly sweeps can be downloaded and saved to your home computer by clicking on the links below. There are two forms for Horticulture (Cut Speciman and Hort) and one form for Flower Arranging so be sure to use the correct one.

The February sweeps were well subscribed and the results beautiful! Thank you to all that entered in the Horticulture and Flower Arranging classes. Go to the Activities tab across the top of this page, scroll down to Photo Gallery and click to see all the wonderful entries. We hope for even more participation at our April meeting. There will be Photography sweeps as well as Hort and Flower Arranging. We look forward to a big turnout!
Joan Sargent was back in fine form to celebrate the most snow we’ve ever had in Connecticut. Nonetheless, there were about 13 participants, wearing parkas, boots, gloves, hats slipping into Lauren’s house to enjoy a cozy fireside chat next to her potbellied stove.
